I wouldn't worry too much. The new bid has circumvented any impact that the media can have. It's a numbers game now. The Board have invited investment from Mo up to 24.9%. He has taken them up on their offer. If they were to refuse, no amount of supportive press can save them.

Notice, I haven't even mentioned Mark Sims in that. His offer is the coup de grace. Checkmate. Game over. Goodnight Vienna etc.

I believe that he built an extension with the cash - which was formally opened by John Rudge!! In fairness, Bill Bell got rid of him siting serious misconduct, as a solicitor he couldn't have that and so sued, successfully. I believe that he actually went because he refused to do certain things that Bell instructed him to do. I find it dissapointing that Plant sees fit to be critical of Chaudry while totaly ignoring the merit of the bid.

 

It smacks of desperation when the only defence they have is personal attacks on Chaudry.

I dont doubt that what bell said was wrong. I just asked a genuine question. Plant sued the club, and he said he may forgo the money if V2001 got in. DId this happen? I ask this because Mr Plant has dug around and found old press clipping to ask questions about Mo.
