Look at the league table after 12 games, that's 1/4 of the season. If after 1/4 of the season we are averaging 2 pts per game that is a very good start. Particularly given our position, vis admin. To push on we need this admin business sorted. We'll need to get in players on loan and make sure our best players don't get flogged off in the next transfer window. With loan additions to cover injuries, suspension, lack of form we can get auto. Otherwise it will be outside chance of play-offs. Come on prospective owners, you know it makes sense....

A very good win for the Vale and in front of a large crowd so that theory is shot down in flames. Daggers are a threat like all the other clubs in this division,i don't suppose Gillingham or Exeter expected to drop points but they did. An off day and we get stuffed, keep on top of our game and we will win more than we lose but a long long way to go yet,if we're top or thereabouts at christmas then promotion is ours to lose, keep picking up points and let the other teams do the worrying,,,UTV.

I think if we are in this position by Christmas and have new owners by the Jan window we are in for a great season

Correct. Results like today, 6,500 home fans last week, posibly top of the league come Tuesday night, SURELY things like this are the reason at least one of the potential buyer's wants it done and dusted by the end of next month!? And if all that comes to pass and they have the cash to invest AS Young says, we could find ourselves back in the Championship where we belong......:rolleyes:

Adams needs to be careful that competition for places does not translate to a spate on training ground injuries. But that aside we should start against D&R at high pace and using width. We need Duffy and Taylor to get forward constructively to overcome Gillingham style double winger marking. I don't think we need a defence because Barcelona didn't have one last night and they beat Seville 3-2 away.
