FA Cup Sixth round

Featured Replies

Just secured tickets, bit annoying as you're fighting to select the seats 😄 But all sorted for the game now (and transport sorted too) 🙂

Me and the lad are exiles with 60 priority points each. Went from 'not sure we'll get one' to 'not sure I want to go' after sitting through that at Doncaster last night. This has to be one of the weirdest seasons ever.

It is unusual if not unique  for tier 3 clubs to get to the 6th round without doing well in the league.  Wigan won the FA Cup whilst in the Prem  but were relegated 3 days later.

what time do the official coaches leave Vale?

Ticket question: if I have other people in my “network”, can I buy Chelsea tickets for them, assuming they have the necessary points?

11,30am. Normally from Hamil Road but with there being so many it maybe from one of the car parks, maybe even the synetics one.

I am starting to think that tickets could make general sale....

I know of a few who either aren't that tech savvy or who are older folk who haven't got smart phones(also know 2 younger ones who dont have smart phones as well) that aren't going because of how the tickets are being done,so i agree there should be some for general sale plus some folk will be on holiday as well

Assuming I get a ticket, it will be strange applauding a bunch of players that represent PVFC, onto the pitch, most of whom seem to have no affinity with the club at all, and will be busting a gut to get noticed at Stanford Bridge. It’s an odd situation, as we will be there supporting our club and not the players that wear its shirt. It’s a peculiar situation we are in

I am 66, followed the Vale since I was 4, had a season ticket for as long as I remember. I am away for Easter so can’t make the Chelsea game but, not that bothered for the reasons you state above. Peculiar indeed!

With respect you are not that bothered because you are on holiday. You have seen worse Vale sides over the years and yet continued to show the faith.

This is the quarter final of the FA cup against a top team that nobody alive had seen us play. Will we win? I very much doubt it but it won't stop me wearing my Vale top or waving my 50 year old scarf with pride !!

VTID..

Actually you have a point however, there was a time the holiday would have been cancelled & I would be at Stamford Bridge risking the locks being changed at home Lol!
