So we arrive at one of the main pinnacles of the fixture season... Easter weekend. Two games in 4 days at the end of a long campaign where nerves, anxiety, worry, anticipation and hopes can be fulfilled or dashed.

As we head in to this, we are top of the League. League tables never lie. We are currently the best side in League 2 so no side should concern us in that League whether home or away.

If course this is Vale. Anticipation and apprehension will be at the fore particularly the 1500 going to the game. The SVA following will have a big part to play today with Carlisle fans backing their team in numbers. Let's hope by 5pm it's our fans celebrating and we are half way to 6 points from 6 over the vital Easter period.

Four points may just do it, depending on other results. Think it's going to be a tough one today. Carlisle have found some form of late and are desperate to get out of the bottom two. I suspect it's not going to be a 'pretty' spectacle today, but keeping everything crossed for a result!

Either see if a VPN would work with the app or as you’re abroad should allow you to get a match pass on PVTV for a tenner is the other way.

Because its not a Saturday kick off you can £10 to watch it

Well that's one way to calm the nerves.

That must be an OAP's pub nobody their. OH hang on there's two of you, 2 glasses. Hey Mellor you'll be old one day but I'll tell ya the passion for this club never leaves you.

Final thought if we're bricking it what are the fans below us doing ??????

Is anyone not nervous about this one?  😁

We all know how it usually goes this is Vale after all, and we rarely do easy but I felt the same last week and we delivered, I felt the same before the play off final and we delivered so we don't always do it the hard way sometimes they let us relax and enjoy it hopefully today is one of those days.

I think Easter is season defining for us win them both and I believe we will be unassailable in terms of a top three finish so its in our hands and we currently have a settled side which has brought our best form of the season so I am trying my best to think positively.

I predict they will press us from the start snatch an early goal then we will start to control the game and they will get more and more nervous unable to decide whether to stick or twist and we will wear them down and smash them with two early second half goals followed by a late third on the break as they pile forwards looking for an equaliser that never comes. 3-1 to the champions elect. 😁

One day, lol.

2 points ahead so will go into Grimsby game top ,Mcgoldrick has opened the door with a stunner .

Vale full of goals and confidence.

Fans in dreamland .

Just got to keep there cool now and remember we can really open up a big lead at top of table with a win ,a draw will keep us ahead of Walsall if they win a game ,no guarantees of that Harrogate will want to win too no idea who Doncaster playing but there not a bad side, but if it's Tranmere then there scoring goals at home and still need points .

No team is playing anywhere near as well as Vale and if standards drop off like they did last sat second half as Bromley has a few wild shots wide but on another day a opponent smashing them in ,so it's good to make changes if team work rate drops and with Byers Curtis ,Hart ,Richards ,Chizzy all ready enter fray it doesn't weaken the first team one iota

Safe travels to the SVA enjoy your day and keep with the team .

Anyone else feel sick? I’m not going today and can’t face 2 hours of following on Flashscores. I’m considering just having a 2 hour nap from 3-5.

Come to church with me. Good Friday liturgy starts at 3, usually finished by 4.30, just time to catch the last knockings of the match on RS.

Genius.

I have the NOW TV app but I won’t work in Lanzarote, frustratingly.

Can you watch via PVTV (for a tenner) or doesn’t that work in Europe?
