Hello! New to the forum, and no idea if this has been discussed on here before (embarrassing if so), but you've been in talks with Ben Waine for a while now. He was released from Plymouth in the summer.

Welcome to ovf income.

How do you know we are in talks with him?

Welcome and are you a Plymouth fan?

Thanks for this. I guess the obvious question is, is he any good?

Would be nice to have a player at the World Cup next year (Waine plays for New Zealand)

Liam Gordon plays for Guyana who have (I think) an outside chance of qualifying too. They are third in their qualifying group so admittedly it's probably unlikely!

In terms of the season, I think we get an International break if two players are called up don't we?

After bringing in Wynne and now apparently targeting Waine I wonder if Darren Moore has a NZ contact?

Three isn't it... but in L1 usually if you don't the opposition does have three and only 2-3 games go ahead them weekends!

Elliot Embleton, heard it here first

Like most Vale fans I have absolutely no idea what he's like. If he's got a little pace their may be something to it. If he can also operate in a front 3 it's something our manager has experimented with. Is he any good?

Whether true or not it’s nice to see a couple of rumours.

It is but it's odd that its come off two random posters with their first posts so could it be they have come on as a wind up? although having said that they are 2 pretty random names to put out there.

Embleton is a midfielder so i am unsure on that one plus he only signed for Carlisle in January for an undisclosed fee unless he has a relegation release clause

As for Waine,my Plymouth supporting mate says he was never really given a chance at Plymouth but he is a striker with a little bit of pace and obviously as we know an international

The Carlisle fans on the forum I go on didn't really take to him positively.

They’re rumours.  As for Embleton, I think he’s played much of his career at League 1 level and above, so not a bad shout if we’re looking for another player in midfield.
