I think its more of a response to some of their arrogant comments

 

And to be fair they are right.

 

We are a tinpot fourth division outfit and Paddy McCourt is better than that.

 

This time tomorrow they will more than likely have qualified for the greatest club tournament in football. They are light years ahead of us and have every right to wonder why one of there players would be coming to a fourth division outfit in England.

 

That doesnt take away the fact that i would love him here but really, hes too good for where we are at this moment in time.

What an arrogant load of barstewards concerning their attitude towards Vale. Least we play in a half decent national league, rather than mickey mouse scottish football. Not to mention the fact that at least we have half a chance of playing in the English premier league unlike them.

 

From European football, to a cold Tuesday night away at Bristol Rovers. I can see where they're coming from. Lol

Thats why hes now playing in the scottish fourth division!

 

......with a team that plays to 45,000 crowds every fortnight. Paddy McCourt is a fine player though. He was brilliant at Derry City , and I just can't see him move from Celtic to Vale. Only a rumour I'd say.

Robbie Williams and Jonathon Wilkes play to 75000 every year. Doesnt make them any good.

Agree with spunkers as a general rule. A number of players who are decent in the SPL are lower league players when they come to England though, our very own jmw had a spell with Motherwell. I always rated Rory Fallon and Scott Vernon as decent in leagues 1 n 2. Generally though Celtic's players are a step up in quality than the other sides!
