What needs to be said/asked at this meeting?

 

It might be an idea to use this thread to collaborate on some questions and ideas.

 

I am concerned that tempers will get frayed and some people may start taking things out on the top table. Whatever you think of Bob Young and the administration process, things have to be kept constructive and practical.

 

I also hope that Keith Ryder will be invited to issue another statement to be read out at the meeting. Things have come to the point now where this worrying pattern of non-communication from him has to be interpreted as an act of bad faith.

Can't make it to the meeting but would be keen to get answers to -

 

Question - what set of circumstances would trigger further punishment from the FL?

 

Question - what options have fans got for ST refunds before the season starts?

 

Question - what protection do ST holders have if things go pear-shaped after the season starts?

 

Question - has KR got all other aspects of his bid in place ie.. sponsors, board, kit supplier, staff?

 

Question - does MA have any further scope to strengthen squad before season starts?

I have a theory about the meeting tomorrow.

 

We are told that ST are going to be sent out tomorrow although we were told this before then told that they couldn't be sent out something to do with the sponsor,or lack of.So being as we are now told that season tickets will be sent out tomorrow and there is a SC club meeting withI hope he never sets foot in Vale park again.Never has anything to do with the club again.Let him rot in his caravan. Bob Young kindly attending.Then the meeting will be where and when the completion of the deal is to be announced along side who the new sponsor is and who will the members of the board will be.

 

I have not been given any outside info from any source not even one of those reliable sources that some people have.I have nothing to back up this theory it is just my theory nothing more and me having a positive out look for the club.

The kit issue is an interesting one.

 

Either the new kit is already made and in storage somewhere, awaiting the takeover so that the manufacturer and the sponsor can be officially unveiled, or there is no kit in place whatsoever in which case a strip will need to be sourced before the Burnley game.

 

Leaving aside the fact that Vandanel and Harlequin ended their associations with us in acrimony, there will be too much wear and tear on last season's kit which is being used in the friendlies and we can't wear it for much longer, also I doubt there will be enough plain shirts left to print all the new squad numbers on.

I thought after I had posted that I had missed something.

 

So I would also like to add that there will be a press conference.That announcement will be filmed live.This will also include the new kit which can be ordered there and then.Everything needed IS now in place,everything is set up.Vale has risen from the ashes.
