Promotion Or A New Board??

What would you prefer, promotion this season which in my opinion would give the present board the lifeline they need or another season in league two and a new board with money and fresh ideas?

Both, But i would settle with a new board as promotion would come under Mo.

A new board for me. As much as I would like promotion this season I feel with a new change of direction off the pitch which would create more income revenues, promotion would more than likley come soon after anyway.

Promotion. You have to take these chances when they present themselves.

 

There is absolutely no guarantee of promotion under a new regime, anyone who thinks there is is being very naive. There is however, a very good chance that the club will change hands anyway.

I think promotion is important this season.

 

Should this Board lead us in league 2 next season we will be staring non-league football in the face when we go into administration.

Promotion. A very rare event in any clubs history.

 

In favour of Mo, can only be an improvement over the current lot, but I am sceptical how much difference he can really make with 1.2m over the course of his five year plan. As ChrisR says, there is certainly no guarantee of promotion the following year. Far from it, I would say.

Personally I have always judged a football club by results and league position. I also think that if we go up BB & co are more likely to sell. I would personally favour a promotion over a takeover anyday. That is what we fans crave after all, instant success?

Sad for me to say.but looking long term got be new board. Promotion,would be great for a mth or two.but just papering over cracks again.we need it sortd once n for all.

What's so exciting about League 1? It's almost the same as League 2; a Port Vale under the current regime is about as exciting as my Nan's lifestyle. Mo will inject money and renewed optimism. A top-to-bottom restructure is what is needed, we need new ideas or we will end up like Stockport I'm afraid.

A new board, i would expect Vale to be champions easily next season with Mo & his people on board
