I know the season has not started and we have not finished yet...

 

But I am very delighted in who Micky has bought in this week!! Just goes to show that Adams definatly means business with his new found resources... I will look forward too the next couple of weeks of Transfer dealings....

 

And I would like to say well done so far Micky on these quality signings...

 

And I really hope that now you have the quality that you can show the boo'ers what you could of done for us when you first took over at the Vale if only you had the resources...

 

It may be very early days but today has got me very happy and I'm looking forward too going this first match of the season (Burnley)

To be fair previous to these signings the signings made other than a couple were garbage .... And that wasn't because of the budget. I have to admit though I didnt trust Adams to bring the right players in but thus far I'm pretty pleased with the signings made!

I don't know much about our budget before... But did we really have a big budget? Too me it seems like we have a much bigger budget so far... I'm sure the players we have bought in are on more than the previous lot that have gone (except Richards) did we really have a decent budget? Or was this a pack of lies also made by the old guard???

Always an element of luck, some players gel together, some don`t. Fingers crossed, most will fit in, and do the job expected.

The wage budget for 2012/13 is limited under league 2 rules to 55% of club income. Therefore if the wage budget grows Mr Ryder must increase the income of the club in proportionality. If the wages and income start in reality to become out of line the club must correct that situation and if that does not happen the Football League may apply sanctions. I expect that the Football League are looking at the realism of the budget figures before signing off Mr Ryder's takeover.

What I like about the signings so far is that they all bring something to the table. In the past it's seemed like we've made some signings just to make up the numbers. All 6/7 are good players, filling gaps in the squad & bring a wealth of experience.
