Adams Part 2.

Spoke to life long Sheffield fan on Saturday in Chesterfield, who assures me that if Sheff Utd go down they will NOT keep Micky to rebuild and try and get them back into the championship.

He is getting slated on the Sheff Mad fans forum, it seems although he is a life long blade, they want a fresh start next season with a new man in charge.

I don't believe the current board have any idea who they want to start next season with, so my simple question is.

Would the current board approach Adams, OR if Mo is in charge would HE like him back at the helm?

My dad has always said that there is only one thing better than a good manager, and thats a lucky one !

I believe the Adams glove fitted the hand ( he even turned up last tuesday and we won )

Thoughts.........

I think the current board would snap his hand off. It would certainly sell a few season tickets. I am sure they had a word to sound him out when he was at the vale the other week (Allowing for usual gags about cornettos etc.)

It wouldn't necessarily work. I think if he'd have got sacked around the same time as Gannon and been reappointed, we'd have gone up automatically. But a new season is a fresh start, and with the off season it will be like starting again. It might work out, especially if we keep the same core to the squad, but I think it's no more likely to than if we appointed someone like Wilson or Boothroyd.

FYI.

Accrington 1-0 up ( 6th, 63 points )

that and 2points from playoffs looking very unlikely now :(

i know the table can change very quickly and it has done throughout the season but now i think some teams are finding there form at the right time sadly we are loosing ground and quickly

--edit--

post this and southend make it 1-1

If he gets sacked, I would love to hear him say "I'd come back if Mo is in charge"

Would be a massive boost to B&G and could get a great deal of currently apathetic fans behind the campaign.

MA in charge with actual funds available to him...could you imagine?

He isn't going to say that though because he supported the board when he was here.
