Stafford Valiant

Recommended Posts

Same here me and me lad 356 quid ,I didn't have the money last year ,the wife was not working .

This year is different as the wife is working so I can afford to splash out so that's what I'll be doing on 31st April. My mate at work says he is getting one for him and his daughter so that's good news as usually he goes only occasionally.

Up the Vale !

Just a word of caution theres only 30 days in April!!!!!

As there isnt an early bird price extension, ive got my season ticket today! Everyone should now get there season tickets after te good news today!

Totally agree. Instead of moaning about no extension, get up to the club and buy a ticket while the offer IS still on.

I don't why people are getting so upset regards the season ticket deadline. Just to put it all into some sort of context please consider the following:

1) KR is & will not be in control of the club until late June/early July so up until then the Administrator calls the shots.

2) The revenue ST sales generate will be required way before then to sustain the club over the close season & to provide funds for player contracts (which tend to commence on July 1st).

3) Everyone knows that the 'early bird' offer always ends around this time of year (April/May) so it can hardly be a shock.

4) By contrast Stoke's 'early bird' over ended 4 weeks ago.

5) I agree times are hard & money tight but even if you bought a ST the day before the first match of the season, you'd only pay £14.56/game (compared to £11.82/game now) - still very reasonable & you'd have an extra 4 months to save or 4 months interest dependant on your finances.

Time to put the politics to one side & support the club.

A tip for those of you struggling to find the cash in one go, starting from now save your small change in a tin every day, throw in the odd 50p and £1 - by this time next year you will have £100+ towards the next seasons ST. And you won't miss the change.

Exactly what i did mate, got 117 quid in 20p coins, nearly killed mar lady carring em to the bank.

Alternatively if you put £5.23/wk (less than 2 pints) in the tin you'd have the full £272 ST money.
