Rob,

I have a problem every time I post while quoting someone else because random blank lines are being added - that's if I can post at all; usually the quoted text is turning blue as if the text was being selected and the keyboard turns off. I'm using a Samsung phone on Android. Any idea what it might be?

Hi For any one using a Android phone and the forum not working. You can install Firefox from the Playstor and see if that works for you. I know a lot of people like Firefox for android anyway.

 

Firefox has bin around for a long time it's not some new kid on the block. It will not install any thing bad to your phone.

Some times with android phones they will use a build of crome and mod it to do things a strange way. I know Samsung do this. There is all so the thing that some brands of Android phones that don't do software updates as they should. EG we are now on android 13 with Android 14 due out in October. A friend just came to me asking why his tablet would not work on YouTube? When I looked at it it was stuck on Android 4 and had bin deemed so old that Google were not pushing any updates to it. I had to flash it to a newer build of Android 7 to get it working again.

I installed Firefox and it looks like it's solved the problem.

That's good to here - thanks to everyone who has looked to resolve this. 

Sometimes there's only so much I can do as I can't always replicate the problem myself and due to costs some of this site is various pieces of software cobbled together and that can cause conflicts that I don't notice or know how to fix. 

I'm pleased this one seems to have sorted itself out by using Firefox (which I use on my phone and enjoy)
