Supporters club Statement

[For Us All]

Maybe we should have issued a statement before we had written it? IS that what you are demanding, before we are good and ready?

 

I think you'll find a disorganised group of directors got us in to the mess we're in, an organised group of supporters highlighted that mess and some are still in denial (Hi Phizz) of it whilst the administrators and a new owner will hopefully sort it out

 

Meanwhile you just carry on criticising everyone from behind that keyboard

I do not miss the point, and there is a craving for information.

 

I just do not understand the suspicion of withholding information simply because a statement is late. At some point you have to trust people and I am not seeing this here. I repeat... this is not V2001 and it seems to me you are tarring the SC with a V2001 brush.

 

Gary, Pete and the SC have done and continue to do a fantastic job, which has no doubt consumed an awful lot of their time. They are a little late with a statement. Big deal. I see absolutely no cause for alarm or suspicion.

Given you have stated the above, why are YOU asking for a statement?

 

If you are going to attempt to argue, at least don't contradict yourself in the same thread.

Who is not communicating with supporters? A statement is late. Nothing more. Nothing less. It has been clearly explained why the statement is late. To my mind, that is communicating with supporters.

 

You wouldn't have even known that the SC had met with Keith Ryder had Gary not mentioned it. To my mind, this is communicating with supporters.

 

I'm sorry, but I think to accuse SC committee members of behaving in the same manner as V2001 is very unfair and I would completely understand if they decided to wash their hands of the whole situation and let us get on with spending all day on here posting rumour and counter rumour.

I seriously dont understand what all the fuss is about. The only statement im interested in is the one from Mr Ryder, we can all pontificate as much as we think, at the end of the day if all goes according to plan, its his vision that im wanting to learn, and with respect not the supporters clubs.

 

Im sure that you have a role to play in the future running of the club, however I will not be one hanging on that opinion. As much as we believe we will make a difference, its his money and his way. All he has to do is agree to a level of transparency with the club that is acceptable, without it being voyeristic to the extent that we want to know what colour the snot is when he wipes his nose, and if its not black and white then he doesnt have the best interests of the club at heart.

 

The next few days are critical to the club we need to maintain a level of decorum whilst these incidents take there course.

All I see is you moaning about not having a statement about the plans for the future of the club (the politics), and you then state supporters shouldn't be involved in any politics.

I am not going to agree with you about the SC totally and i still think you miss the point i make which may be in some way down to me or you have some sort of loyalty to the SC.

The way in which you post ,considering we have opposite views, is a credit to you, it has been a refreshing change from defensive aggression that seems to be the norm.

Phizz, I have no loyalty to the SC. I have never met any one of the committee. But I recognise the work they have done and just feel that this criticism is a little OTT.

 

The SC stepped up to the plate when the going got tough with V2001. Therefore, what benefit is gained by acting in the same way as those they spent so long in helping to remove?

 

The SC committee has my trust. If a statement is late by a couple of days, it will not affect that. But simply because a statement is a couple of days later than planned, and the reason has been communicated as to why, does not "smack of V2001".

Fine to disagree and I guess we'll just have to leave it at that. But I certainly don't think I have overreacted. I just have a completely opposite view of things to you and see nothing to change that view.
