They sold the site for the old Gay Meadow for a wedge.

They are sponsored by Greenhous for the New Meadow.

They have a Chairman and Board who are determined to get promotion.

They have signed some big wage players in the past two seasons.

All the other Div 2 managers reckon they are one of the biggest spending teams and favourites for promotion.

They tried to sign Marc Richards this week.

They have one of the highest home average gates in the league.

If you are a Div 2 observer it's obvious!

Bit sad most of the comments on there, anyone would think all Shrewsbury fans were complete angels. It must have been Vale fans chucking bricks at us from there end a few years ago. If they think Vale fans are bad it`s perhaps best if they don`t go up. Just hope the ref doesn`t fall for their playacting and Crewe style mardarseing and allows it to be a mans game.
