Why are radio Stoke reporting the winding up order has been issued for £750 of unpaid tax? Surely an amount this small does not warrant the winding up order

 

£750 is the minimum amount of debt needed to start a winding up action. The actual debt is likely to be far more than this.

Its a statutory HMRC figure of greater than £750, the amount stated is irrelevant other than Vale owe greater than that amount.
