IF?

FRITTER

Whilst the possibility exists, anyone with a drop of business sense would see the sheer lunacy of buying Vale to demolish the ground of a site that would struggle to gain planning for an alternative use.

But don't let reality cloud the agenda.

Sorry I dont agree, it all depends on the heighest bid!

The point is that the land that The ground is on could be worth more than the club its self considering most posters think that no one in their right mind would risk money in football.

Just pinting out the possibility!

Richard Branson might decide to buy Port Vale, putting £100m in and a £10m sponsorship from Virgin Atlantic.

Just putting out their as a possibility ...

IF we do go into administration prior to the EGM then the board relinquish power of running the club to the administrator.

Subsequently the administrator would be responsible for restructuring the club and overseeing the handover to a new owner(s).

From my limited understanding, the current board have many responsibilities to work with administrator in assisting in the interim period.

So you'd pay to demolish Vale Park and then pay.to have a change of use in the planning permisson then pay to build on it?

Or you can build on thenumerous brownfield sites thc council are practically giving away?

Eeeerrrr I know which obne I'd do.

and then their's all those mine shafts to be filled in......not cheap

Is it it tomorrow when the board have to nominate two new directors or could it be three because I have no idea where Peter Miller stands in all this, infact I never have!

I think Gary B said that they had to do it by tomorrow:unsure:

The question is,has FRITTER heard a rumour and that is why the thread was started?

The board are removed from authority and the appointed administrator takes control. He then acts in the best interests of all creditors so far as possible and therefore liquidation is a possibility if that is the best option in getting money to the creditors. It may become more likely if HMRC win a test case that outlaws the Football League rules about football creditors taking preference on sanction of expulsion from the League which currently colours administrators to keep clubs in business.
