I'm sure Micky will still feel he joined the board for the right reasons, and won't have any regrets in doing so. Aside from that, he'll be well aware of financial shortcomings (at least by January if he doesn't now), but he can't come out and say he agrees with the protestors, as that's simply stating he wants his employers to leave!!

That's a bit like me saying "I used to be an axe murderer but I'm ok now"

He was privy to the goings on in the boardroom. If he chose to ignore it then he is guilty of negligence. I think this is what a lot of people failed to see when he took the step. You can't just be a director to make up the numbers. It carries a responsibility to the shareholders.

If criminal actions are taken against the board he may just find this out the hard way.

Micky Adams isn't half as clever as he thinks.

I'm sure he said all along he would only do it to make up the numbers, and not have to be involved with the 'political' issues. Naive maybe, but nothing more.

I'm sure you are right Burt. He obviously isn't burdened by much of a conscience and didn't seem to wrestle too much with his pride when uncle Bill begged him to come back on an improved deal after he had failed miserably at Sheffield Utd.

Naive and probably a bit stupid given what's gone on but now is not the time to get on the back of Micky, its time we shifted these four clearly culpable ****bags from the boardroom.

If it then transpires through proof he or Meigh were in on things then action can be taken.

This is just another diatraction.

He lied about promising to buy shares in order to convince less suspicious shareholders to vote him on to the board.

Familiar?

No, Micky made it clear beforehand that it was Stan Meigh's proxy, after Mark Sims released a statement regarding his confusion. I remember.

Micky's fair enough saying that he cant really speak out against his employers and from a footballing point of view it is possibly a hindrance as he wants the fans in the ground supporting the team rather than the potential distraction.

Saying what he is saying isnt necersarilly saying he is backing Miller and Deakin.

You are probably right. It does slightly nark me though when his part in this is glossed over too easily.
