The directors have a duty not to carry on trading if the club is insolvent. They then have primary responsibility to creditors rather than shareholders. So we will see.

Surely most clubs are technically insolvent or else they'd never get to the levels of debt that they do

 

But FC's do seem to have a blind eye turned

There was a Heather Deakin working in the commercial dept but she is absolutely no relation to PD and was rather unceremonially sacked immediately after the EGM.

They have already done that, with a short term loan to cover the none paid shares, to make it look as if they had paid for them.

 

Glenn Oliver said to me prior to the EGM that they would not sell to Mo Chaudry because he would take out loans. This was also given as a reason in the board's document sent to shareholders prior to the EGM.

No doubt it will chuck it down, be a poorer atmosphere and they will run out of food! Still enjoy the scram and chuck mea couple of rashers!

 

I think it might be our toughest game against them yet.
