At the end of the relegation season when we sold those two, the football club owed Norman £218k less than it did at the start.

My view of things.

 

Norman made a huge mistake when we were a solid league one club.

 

That has caused our decline.

 

Norman promised he would fund his mistakes (he will not)

 

Norman realises he doesn’t want to own the club anymore.

 

Norman says he “never loses on a deal”... and he doesn’t care if he screws over a community in making sure that stays the case.

 

Norman values the club as the money he has put in not what it’s worth.

 

No one is willing to pay that because the club is not worth it.

 

Norman ammeds the budget so that it represents only the money the club makes from operating and excludes any transfer deals.

 

Having received £1m in transfer inflows with a further £900k to come he will throw a lazy £50k signing to the feet of the smurfettes who will lap it up and say he has “backed the manager”.

 

Norman will keep the remaining transfer revenue until he makes back the money he has put in and until he can then value the club at what’s its actually worth so that a sale makes him even.

 

Norman will then sell the club... meaning he can look his family proud in the eye and say “look at me, I never lose on a deal”

 

And if anyone ever questions how he managed it and brought a community club loved by thousands to its knees he will persuade himself it was other people’s fault.

 

Norman cares more about his own ego than our club. We are stuck with him. He is the cancer of Port Vale.
