Going to the toilet during lessons

There should be a policy on it. No one wants kids with bladder control problems sitting in wee. Or the class pr@t taking the pi55, pardon the pun, disrupting lessons. The lot I teach are a lot older, 22 or so. But we had problems with those caught short during exams, allegedly. Now there is a policy. They can't go unless we are informed in advance that there is some medical problem that might make it necessary and then a member of staff has to go along too. And all mobile devices must be left outside the building. Not just the room. And no talking during exams even to ask questions about exam questions. Makes life a lot easier for us staff. We don't have to make a subjective decision. Them's the rules.

Not sure where you got that nugget of information from Warren. I went to a Victorian built school (St Lawrence Biddulph) and the girls' toilets were a cosy number inside. The lad's was outside without a roof. And that was the way it was originally built in 1870.

The swear filter on here is really paranoid. Is **** really swearing? p r a t?

I can't believe anyone is still giving this stupid thread any air time.

Nobody 'teaches' 1-2 year olds, they might look after them, and this issue is just an idiotic not very funny joke, the person who started the thread is sitting back and laughing at all of you who gave it serious replies.

Just as they did with all their other posts on other threads, and many of you know perfectly well who it is.

Maybe so. But is does raise a point on how you deal with this kind of stuff in these snowflake times. Year two are six year olds - so I'd hope they get some teaching. {Although they don't here where learning to play takes up the first two years)

Do you really believe the opening post is genuine then ? I am sorry - I don't. Notice the number of posts amongst other things.
