My observation from watching the England v Italy game at Vale Park was the ladies have less strength. The result is they pose less threat of shooting and scoring outside the box and also the ball stays in play for longer periods of time than in the men's game because they are less able to make big clearances or long high passing.

Another fine display by the defence in the face of constant French attacks. Thought England's midfield were overrun first half and the ball never seemed to stick up front. Have to say I honestly thought I was watching a replica Vale game for the forthcoming season! However if we can emulate what these fantastic ladies are doing then I'll be well chuffed. Come on Ladies , win the tournament.
