Maybe the title of the thread could have been less provocative I accept that. However, I stand by what I said. There was plenty of vocal cheering when Boomer ran past with both flags. The only ones that have downplayed the cheering are those who are against the investment in all fairness. The cheers were not just for Boomer either because that was the loudest cheer he got all game.

 

Do you not also accept that the whole post was utterly ridiculous, gauging the feeling of the fans from the response to a man dressed as a dog waving a flag?

Fans booed, but did not boo really. - There was booing of Yates the first time he touched the ball after their second goal which was out of order but the only booing after that was towards the referee.

 

The US flag was cheered and not cheered. - There was a large number cheering and it didn't sound ironic in the slightest.

 

The crowd figure was really good and really bad. - Good compared to this season, bad compared to last season.
