Joyce to me if he takes the rematch needs to understand you can’t use your chin as almost a first line of defence as especially at heavyweight eventually it’ll cost you. I’m stunned one of the judges had Joyce leading at the time of the stoppage thankfully that was a moot point in the end.

Think everyone wrote off Zhang from the beginning. 

Dont get me wrong I like Joyce but he takes way too many hits. Was always going to get caught by a big heavy hitter eventually.

I watched on a dodgy stream with the ESPN commentary. Horrible and unprofessional and just slagged off the fighters on the undercard about their record, weight etc. Couldn't listen to that on a weekly basis 

 

Good win for Bentley too on the undercard. 40 second KO I believe

Ridiculous price. I can't even justify 20 quid for ppv anymore. 

I fancy Tank for that one though.

I see Frazier-Wardley is being made. Way too soon for Frazier who's yet to have abig challenge. 6 fights in against a 15-0 (14 of them being Knock outs) Wardley. Won't last long

Another night of boxing.

Babic on sky sports. Can't see that lasting long. Bakole on the undercard 

Cordina-Rakhimov on Dazn. Both undefeated but Cordina being favourite being in Cardiff 

And then the big one Davis-Garcia. I think Tank takes the win

As for entertainment value i much prefered the Cordina  fight, surprised by the split decision verdict but the right guy won 

If i had paid anything to watch the Garcia Davis fight I would have felt let down,   

Two undefeated champs in front of a star studded crowd resulted in just one mans punching power

Didn't watch the Tank vs Garcia fight live but watched it later, Tank does live up to his reputation. As well as the unexpected body shot that put Garcia down I wonder whether he realized at that stage of the fight that he wasn't gonna win and decided to stay down for self preservation, who can blame him

Garcia's boxing record looks to me that his 20 odd fight undefeated record may be more down to the low quality of opponents faced, there's too many KO's in under 3 rounds.

There's no question Garcia is a quality boxer but is he that good to fight someone like Davies and have a good chance to win.

People seem to think he either quit half way because he couldn't handle the pace due to the hydration clause.

I personally think Tank is just an elite fighter. The next mayweather maybe? 

Just wish crawford-Errol Spence would get announced already. Not sure why both fighters are ducking each other

This one is really gaining momentum,,,,Expect Smith to take him out again though i expect it will go to the wire

Canelo fighting the British Boxer John Ryder for Canelo's Supper-Middleweight titles in Guadalajara, Mexico Saturday night. I wish the guy the best of luck but the odds must be against him wining.

Guadalajara is not the happiest of  hunting ground for English sport but at least it was the site of one of the English football team's best ever performance even though they lost, hope Ryder can go one better.

Spirited performance by Ryder and he caught Canelo a few times but the faces of the two boxers told the story, Ryder's face was marked and bloodied with blood from his nose whereas Canelo's looked untouched. Canelo's upper body strength and his ability to take a punch are astounding.

Agreed about Ryder. Was written off straight away and went all the way in a rocky balboa esq performance 

Canelo Bivol II being made next. I can't see Canelo winning that to be honest 

I also watched the Buatsi fight. Not the best of fights but good to rid the rust. Buatsi-Yarde has to happen this year hopefully 

Also seen Callum Smith is next for Beterbiev. Dangerous fight for Smith in my opinion
