Will you be there on Sunday?

To those who say we haven't achieved anything and it isn't worth turning up.

How many Directors are left who we tried to get out?

I have spent a lot of time talking with Mike Lloyd these past few weeks and although he may well have his own agenda he is a completely different kettle of fish to Bratty.

Mike genuinely wants to engage with fans and wants to find a way of ending the confrontation culture that has built up over the last few years.

Mike turned up last time and as a Director knew next to nowt. Now he is Chairman he will not be able to say that and should be able to reply honestly (and I think he will) to everything he is asked.

As long as the fans do exactly what HE wants to suit HIS own agenda. I don't see any compromise on the side of the Board. He is playing us like a fiddle and we are buying into his "approachable" attitude. What we are doing is buying him time. The Americans want a united fan base and ML is certainly trying to calm the waters.

No one more than me wants to see an end to all this. What a great atmosphere there'd be at Vale Park for that next match if we were all there pulling in the same direction again.

But how does ML wanting to re-engage with fans and end the culture of confrontation reconcile with that extremely inflammatory and confrontational statement about MS they put out t'other week? How does being provocative and patronising usher in a new era of fan/club relations?

Of course, I'm assuming he didn't write it. But, he's in the hot seat now, where he always wanted to be. So, the buck stops with him.

It would be great to think the board were serious about adopting a more customer-oriented approach. But, given their track record (only last week, remember, they were still trying to paint MS as a Man U fan), does anyone really believe whatever they may come out with on Sunday?

It's not we or us though is it? The statement above is one persons opinion isn't it?

Those that don't trust ML should let him know as much on Sunday.
