Thanks to TV money,away prices at PL matches will be capped at £30 for the next three years after an agreement was reached this morning.

The FA Cup should not change, but if it has to -

 

then seed the 1st round so that all the L1 and L2 teams are away in the 1st round (to a non-league team). Replays apply.

 

3rd round - the 20 teams through from Round 2 (a mix of L1,L2 and non-kge) are seeded and drawn home to a Premier Lge team with a replay if needed. The Championship clubs play each other. This way, the smaller clubs get the fream matches, the PL get an easier game.

 

4th round - seeded again, with the 16 lowest teams at home to the 16 highest, replays apply.

 

5th round onwards - If an L1,L2 or non-lge left, they are seeded to be at home to the top teams left and replays apply - other games no replay

 

6th round onwards- no replays, one-off.

 

Not sure if I'm in the minority, but if we were to play a (proper) PL club who would get a decent gate, I'd rather play it away from VP for the day out. It's not the case it was in the 1970s and 80s when you were watching great players playing at Vale Park, most teams would be Man Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea etc... in name only.

This was the absolute least the Prem could do. And as for their quote the fans are uppermost in our thinking, oh yes!!!! That why matches kick of at all hours, and are subject to last minute changes. The Premier league has done just enough, to ensure the "mugs" will still attend matches.

but watch the beer, food, tea/coffee/Bovril, programme price's triple for the away fans also less away fans aloud in the grounds so they can fleece there own fans.
