On the 1st of June seo was all geared up to become 'fatten em up'. The board are the only people to blame. No board, no seo and we could be looking forward to a great season under Mo, infront of 6,7, maybe even 8 thousand fans every week.

Any balanced, level headed individual can conclude who is causing the damage and the finger of course points to the board. There will be excuses and some folk will blame SEO, B&G, NLV and pro changers but that doesn't bother me as it is a very lame excuse and has no depth of argument.

 

It proves that the unified voice for change is having an effect, whether the board do anything about is is down to three people who believe they own the club.

Before I get shot down in flames for my opinion, look at this objectively.

 

Minusses - Loss of top goal scorer/penalty taker.

Inept board will get minimum fee for him.

 

Plusses - Receipt of transfer fee.

Top earner's wage freed up.

Captaincy can move to more suitable player (Owen).

Acquisition of another striker/s who can hold the ball up better

and link play more effectively.

New forward line might play with more determination and spirit.

 

This move, if true, might not be as bad as first appears.
