Uche is at least part of the problem his link-up play is woeful. He's got all the attributes except a footballing brain. He needs to be sat down and watch video after video of Shearer, Pope, Duncan Fergerson, etc, etc, etc and shown how to pass a ball to a player in his own team when he receives it back to goal. He just tries to turn and run at defenders every time. Do it a couple of times a game and defenders don't expect it, do it every time he has the ball and defenders just stand off and he loses it.

If it was upto me I would be trying to get the Rochdale manager. He has worked miracles there on a shoestring budget.

 

No fans coming through the gate (see home attendance against Millwall). Chairman unwilling to spend more of his hard earned money whilst getting nowt back from the fans. Why would he or any self respecting manager take us on? Its why we have Page in the first Place ***. The only people that can make a difference is the fans. More through the gate means money to spend improving this squad and no more excuses from Page about team morale being ruined if we bring new faces in thats ******. Its rezults we want not happy families.

Behave! We have a manager who from what I've seen is getting us playing a style that is much better than last season. Early days yet to start silly talk of changing managers!

Performances against Doncaster and Wigan are the exception rather than the norm. Most matches we look completely toothless and clueless going forward. Set pieces are generally pathetic so there's no point in the fans getting excited when we win a corner. Page appears to be happy with a 0-0 draw from every away game and only tries to push forward once we concede, today's performance was as bad as any we had last season.

As an outsider looking in, I reckon your players are playing the right notes but not necessarily in the right order ...... You need a 'conductor' type of player to get everyone pulling the same way at the same time?
