Certainly in for a tough test against the first of the double header games against the Championship drop-outs, I will settle for 4 points. Latics will be sky high in confidence after their 3-2 comeback in the last ten minutes at Chesterfield. They added 3 players last week, and are surely expecting a good crack at a return to the Championship. Jordy Hiwala-Mayifuila ex Man C will need some watching, as will our own ex Craig Davies. Same result as Donny?

Might as well just close the other one and carry on with this, to be fair half of that was just discussing historical games with them!

 

Looking forward to hopefully the best atmosphere at home so far, as this has been lacking, and I've enjoyed our away days far more.

 

3-1 Vale...Uche, Moore & AJ from the bench, I'm really hoping he can finally score. And a performance to match the Doncaster one hopefully!

Not quite a duplicate thread, the other one was mainly concerned with previous games which younger fans may not be interested in. I have moved it to Vale Past and re-opened it so the topic can carry on. Some recent threads have been closed mainly as not appropriate or become abusive. It is a private web site and the owner sets the rules, he also has to keep within the law. Match threads open the morning after the previous game, other topics such as tickets and travelling are proper to the `Travel to and from Vale games`, but big games usually generate separate threads in the Present section.
