all four new signings cost nothing .

 

all four new signings are on small wages due to lack of experience and age, they are more ifs any maybe's than definite quality .

 

we are struggling to compete for players on contracts with giants such as mansfield , macc and morecambe .

 

if the budget had not been spent we could compete and players like pope would already be signed up . he is a vale fan who genuinely wants to play for vale but not for what vale offered originally which was peanuts. vale will have to allow to leave on a free, a player before anything else can happen .

Either Pope or Owusu will be good, I think I'd just prefer Pope if MA can bring out the mature side of him. That would make it a decent squad then, use the USA trip to build morale again, and off we go.
