Did anyone follow it?

 

Really enjoyable and England are the new world champions thanks to Jackpot Lewis and The Power!!!!! Indeed one could argue that Stoke on Trent won the Darts World Cup.

Indeed. Is that the 3rd or 4th time they've won it? Superb!

 

They both contributed too in this year's tournament, whereas in their previous wins one has had to carry the other through at times.

Good performance as Anderson and Wright are playing well. Anderson especially seems to have that bit between his teeth in big finals at the moment(having won the Worlds, Players and Premier League in the last 7 or 8 months).

People will keep writing Taylor off but whatever you think of him to still be up amongst the best at 54 in darts is some going to add to all his achievements anyway.

 

From the tournament point of view I think the PDC need to look at the format in the some of the earlier rounds of the world cup. Making all the rounds like the Davis Cup imo would be better as doubles can be more of a leveller and some of the singles games were damp squibs in round 2 especially. Would at least give some of the 'lesser' teams a chance of getting back in it.
