Buy Them Out?

Recommended Posts

Given that we again seem to be facing a long battle to oust the remaining directors, I just wanted to gauge people's feelings about whether Mo should attempt to buy out the remaining directors at a preferential price.

The last figures for the shareholding I have are:

Bratt: 8834

Oliver: 6212

Lloyd: 10000

What if Mo tests their resolve by offering £10/share? I make that an outlay of £250460. In return, Mo's bid would be sanctioned by the board and their votes would be in favour of the bid.

Opinions please.

Exactly my thoughts.

Had B&G the foresight to have used funds generated from selling scarves etc to purchase shares, Oliver would almost certainly have been gone by now as a minimum.

Unfortunately shares cant be bought at present, but will be buying more soon as possible.

Although apart from Meigh should Simms acccept then the board will be as I voted for with the removal of the 24.9% the only disappointment...

Dear VV

If only it were that straight forward. They will not sell. We have asked many times !

They clearly will not sell.

You can offer them all the tea in China and they won't budge.

There must be a way around this. The votes were so very close last time and it would take a very small number of votes to tip things against them.
