Same old **** really. Crap defending and having a real lack of quality to bring on. Birchall and Williamson are subs for the sake of subs, rarely going to be game changers.

We can look at Slew going off but we'd have still probably conceded.

It's more annoying that Fleetwood sound rubbish.

Thankfully Crewe will keep us off the bottom for a few weeks yet.

yea im gutted to loose..but for me it looked like we were defending well as a team, and didn't seem like we were under any threat as such, until slew went off,and its changed the game.

Mate whos there, just rang and said pretty much the same,as a team we were solid, like at Bradford..but once we went dwn to 10 men, they got the upper hand.

As I say gutted, but page will still get the job,and I firmly believe we will be more than ok in the end.

Popey needs a goal as luck not coming his way,but hes battling on while having a ankle injury.

next home games for us are crucial Id say in getting us moving.

I think you are right, mainly. I'm not sure about RP getting the job though. NS can be a bit bi-polar. I only hope that he takes good advice.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Frustrating to lose to a late penalty after battling so well. Doesn't help when one of your players has a numpty head fit and crogs somebody off the ball, especially so early in the game.

However, I'd love to know why whenever we go down to 10 men we lose whereas whenever our opposition go down to 10 men we struggle to overcome them? With very few exceptions that's happened all my life!

I'd have been happy with a point today.

Lets face it' date=' the players we have are not good enough, we have got rid of the best manager since Rudgie and 1500 people did not renew their season tickets, recipe for disaster ![/quote']

The last manager we 'got rid of' was Jim Gannon. And he definitely wasn't the best manager since Rudgie. Adams on the other hand resigned, and as NS stated, he was never going to get rid of him.

The players who apparently aren't good enough however, were signed by adams.

Judging by the commentary, we were unlucky to lose and Jordan Slew has to take responsibility. Considering we played the whole of the second half with 10 men, we had chances to win. I'm not despondent.

I'm glad to hear the positive remarks about Dodds. I think he has a role and he's a valuable member of the squad.

I think it lets them off the hook to say we were unlucky. We lost another game due to a player self destructing defensively which we've been doing all season consistently.

I'd be willing to bet one of our defenders would have still dragged a player back at some point.

You'd hope that perhaps we'd have had more chances to score with 11 but then we've hardly been banging them in of late.

I'm despondent looking at the table. It's going to take a real effort to stay out of a relegation battle this season. We need a 3 or 4 wins on the bounce to give us some sort of platform as we need to get close to the top 10. If we spend much more time in the bottom 4 crowds will decrease alarmingly, partic with the weather turning.
