Bill said if the shareholders didn't want him ... Well the vote of the shareholders say they do.

Can't argue with that.

No they didn't , without his own vote , he's out, so he needs to read again his own words .

Nope because he is a shareholder as well - so entitled to vote.

Besides you don't know if he actually voted for himself or not? It's only that we assume he did.

Yes of course, that was a vote on the board. They lost that - however by the very nature that we have the "new" board being formed that resolution has had the desired effect.

Remember "the board" at the time the question was asked 5 people.

Normally when a vote of no confidence is passed there is only one outcome .The business should be handed over to someone who people have confidence in.Very easy to understand even for Bratt ,Oliver,Lloyd and you.

Jesus wept! Are you serious? He doesn't want himself to be on the board, but also refuses to step down? And yes he can vote for himself, but the majority of shareholders did not vote for him! He said if the majority dont want him, he will step down. Which part of that do you not understand, as it is fairly simple.

Just accept the facts , he's not wanted by the majority , he knows it ,everyone knows it (except you ).

I'll say again , he needs to read and understand his own statements and go for the sake of the Club ,the supporters of the Club and for his own sake.

His time is up he can do no more ,he's had a go ,failed and should now resign.

No - he won the vote, so why resign?

It's worrying how some people think the bloke who won should resign ....because he has won! Get a grip here - we have 4 people who won votes and should form a new board.

He won the vote by buying shares. IF Broxap had voted for change, that would have been a 20000 share swing. All resolutions except the special resolution would have been passed by a large majority. It is very clear to me that the outcome was manipulated by simply offering cash for votes. Legal, but morally and ethically wrong and it is farcical to call this democracy. To Mr. Robert Lee, you are not a gentleman, sir. It is your company's rash decision that has now put the club into a precarious situation. All for relative peanuts as far as your company is concerned.

In contrast, those that have campaigned for change have done so in the public domain. Their plans, such as gaining Robbie's proxy, were clear for all to see.

The problem we have now is that, should Mark Sims decide to accept the directorship, we will not have a united board. We will have a functional board and I fear that Sims will be marginalised just like Mike Lloyd is, and Mike Thompstone, Paul Humphreys, Charles Machin and Geoff Wakefield were.

Like it or not, there are many who want change. They are not going away and they are not going to be convinced to change their minds. They have tried to remove all the directors by fair means and have partially succeeded. Success breeds success and I look at this as being one step towards the ultimate aim of removing all the old guard.

Unity amongst supporters will not happen while Bill Bratt, Glenn Oliver and Mike Lloyd are directors. We can argue this until the cows come home, but in my view this is an indisputable fact. These individuals must surely know this and are clinging on to their own status to the detriment of the football club, and it is very clear they will do anything, absolutely anything, to retain their position.

The key men may now be Peter Jackson and Stan Meigh. They have a large shareholding and they may change their viewpoint or want to cash in their shares. If I was them, I'd be wondering how I got voted off when three others retained their position. I said this before the EGM, if I was a director I'd be wondering which of the other directors I could trust. My answer would have been --- none of them!
