Is Staying Up Good Enough

But why have Bradford and Rotheram got more money. Dunner get me started or else there will be an headline in the Sentinel Tomorrow, Taxi driver, demolishes Zimmerframe. :D. ****ing really winds me, when Clubs are classed as bigger than us.

Bigger crowds, better players last season that they were able to hold onto, being able to transfer their abilities into the league above? Just 2 reasons why they have more money to compete. Probably got better commercial acumen, too. Yes, we are in a MUCH better position over the past year and a bit, but it's still a work-in-progress. It can't be denied that we have some shortcomings in our commercial/marketing department. But I'm confident we will get there, we're just not set up to adapt as quickly as the other 2.

We'll get there, but it will take time, so for now, we just need to concentrate on building up our points tally and not get sucked into any sort of relegation fight.

I'd settle for anywhere above the relegation zone tbh. However the better the season then the more season tickets sold which means a higher wage budget.

Can build on avoiding relegation and players like Shuker and Taylor will probably be released freeing off some wages for another player hopefully to build next season!

Im not sure thats true... I cant remember if smurf said the average attendance or the average ST sales needed to be X amount.

If it was the average attendance then increasing the number of season tickets will increase the number of average attendance in proportion... eg. if an extra 1,000 people who normally pay on the day buy STs we lose 1,000 x £10 per game [approx] so we would need to attract another 500 pay on the day fans to stand still.... there are other factors to consider of course, large away followings and poor home performances but they dont change the principal.

So what we need is less ST sales and more PotD but that wont happen... so ST prices have to increase.

Or we find the revenue from another source...

Its a bit of a catch 22 situation... we need better players to play better and attract bigger crowds... but we need bigger crowds to get better players to play better.
