Don't understand the fascination with Welbeck. All the pundits rave about him. All I've seen is that he's clumsy, makes poor decisions and has poor finishing generally. Then one moment of great play. But mostly pretty average at best. What am I missing?

I think Daniel Sturbridge has a good opportunity to claim a starting place for England if he has a good season.

He did alright I thought. England are just not very good TBO. Still, enjoyed the game. Scotland aren't very good either, made for an entertaining game.

Spot on. I had the pleasure of going to the game, great atmosphere largely because the Jocks got it going. Good mingling with them around London before the match, not a hint of trouble (for once!) although no doubt there probably was some somewhere.

Same for me, Welbeck runs around a lot and does many things OK but doesn't do anything brilliantly, 2 goals in 39 apps. for Man U last season.
