How good were Brazil....

It is hard to give credence to your arguments. Spain remain ranked 1st in the world by a wide points margin. They have lost 1 in the last 30 games and that was in a foreign continent after playing extra time against Italy in tropical conditions beforehand. The players you call past their best won the Euro Championships 12 months ago beating Italy (world rank 6th) 4-0 and conceding only one goal in six games. They are more or less qualified for the world cup and in the key game this year - the one that mattered a lot more than this in Paris - the score was France 0-1 Spain. Spain's players have a host of wins at club levels and particularly La liga, the strongest country league presently, and in the Champions League / Euro League. Even this year they had three teams in the quarters and two in the semis. They are Euro under 21 champions and of this teams best players Man United crave Thiago whilst Isco just signed for Real. It will be difficult to beat Brazi in Brazil, but even if they don't Argentina lie in wait for Brazil - Messi hat trick last time.

I wasn't being serious..hence the smiley

Whilst Brazil's unbeaten record at home is impressive but how many games at home have they played against really good opposition?

When they have to qualify for World Cups there groups consists of Argentina who you'd class as a major power in world football but who else? Uruguay have come good again the last 4 or 5 years but before that they had a pretty lean period for a good generation if you consider they won the 1930 and 1950 World Cups. The other sides in South America are up and down but most(if not all of them) are teams I'd expect England to beat 9/10(certainly at home, I know Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador play at altitude when at home which makes it difficult for opposition in those countries).

But how often to Brazil play lets say Germany, Italy, Spain et al at home?
