Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Yes, we’ll be surprised if we stay up again. -

Garrity was clear in the middle , and Uche only had to square it to him, and it would have been 1-1. Same with Chislett and Dipepa. The post mortems mean nothing though. -

You may be right in the end, and I thought we were definitely down before Flitcroft left, but it’s not over yet. -
Dipepa worked hard today. If Chislett had played him in , he’d have scored. It could have been different after that. A frustrating game . We had our chances and didn’t take them. On to Wigan.

Massey is the worst player I’ve seen in years . He’s been stealing a wage for a few years now. He’d be the first player out the door for me. His shirt never gets dirty. -

Tough one this. A scrappy 1-1 draw would do , but I’m hoping for another up and at ‘em performance like Saturday, and maybe , just maybe a late winner. UTV -

It was a brilliant goal , and I think they were afraid to dive in . The finish back across goal ranks as one of the goals of the season in League One. From a 17 year old at that. Made my day. UTV -
I’d take 4 points over Easter , although a win at Northampton would be great. Bolton and Peterborough will be extremely tough, but stranger things have happened, and a point from either could set us up .Win on Friday , and our tails will be up, and who knows. It’s going to be very difficult, but it can be done. UTV

It is, and I wonder what the attendance will be. Should be a good few coming back with Flitcroft gone . I’m getting anxious already. -

After those clear cut chances, Vale fans can go across the road to the brewery at half time . Badly needed pint(s) -
Paul, my personal opinion on Clarke is that he was overwhelmed with grief , and his heart and mind wasn’t in the right place to manage the Vale. A very sad situation , but I’m really glad to see him back in management again with Cheltenham, and I hope he keeps getting better and better.

It says by mutual agreement , which usually means jump or get pushed. I think she saw the light , finally, and he saw that his position was untenable.

She’s listened to the fans. Good news.

Funny, I was just thinking about him. We were 9th in the table when he was sacked. -
That’s a nice tribute to him.

We had our chance in February, with a decent run of games to get some points , but this team is not capable of that. I have no doubt that Vale are going down , and it will be worse next season if Flitcroft stays. The club is in a very bad place , and it’s going to take a major overhaul in the Summer to try to arrest the decline. I’m not holding my breath. It’s sad to see lifelong Vale supporters not attending anymore, but who can blame them ? -

This side has nothing in them. They’re just waiting for the season to end . Garrity and Ripley are committed pros , and the young lads try hard , but the likes of Massey and Ojo have downed tools. With the current setup , Vale are headed for the National League.
