This is a great point and a testament to the new owners. With all the other deals they are doing (12 and under free, 12-17 reduced ST etc) I don't think they could do anymore than they have done.

For the people wanting deals on buying 5 tickets at a reduced rate, I personally wouldn't be relying on this becoming reality...

If you are missing less than 9 games a year get yourself a ST and support the club. it works out cheaper in the long run

I think we have been spoilt for a few seasons regarding ST prices.

The price now is very reasonable. We have gone up a league so its to be exepcted.

As Jean points out we were paying similar a few years ago, going nowhere.

We are on a crest of a wave at the minute and im sure we will surpass the 5000 the owners want.

I think it's the pay on the gate price that people are moaning about most, £22 for the bycars is a bit much. The season ticket price is pretty fair.

I suspect the pay on the gate price is to encourage the sale of season tickets. Bradford have done this for a while - dirt cheap season tickets but high on the day prices.

The easy payment scheme does not do what was originally said on the tin but as Nick has pointed out, perhaps they realised it was a dangerous road to go down.

Also, if you pay for an ST with a credit card and pay it off over, say, 6 months, I suspect it would be a fair bit cheaper than the post 17 May price. I'm not advocating anyone should do this unless they are sure they can make the repayments. It's simply a cheaper way of getting an ST than the terms offered by Vale.

Personally I think the prices are good. Hopefully there will be a scheme by which fans can buy bundles of tickets to reduce the cost. We know that a significant number of our fans work varying shifts or night work. I sincerely hope that there is a way that they can benefit form incentives.

We have seen that paying £20 does not deter supporters when the stakes are high so I guess that the team has to ensure that they fly out of the blocks next season.

No pressure there then eh!
