Comments Removed From Sentinel Website

Anyone else have comments removed from the Sentinel website if they question the actions of the paper? I have left 2 posts (not offensive) that have been removed in the last hour concerning the issue of them not printing Mark Sim's letter.

 

It's bad enough that they do not publish such a newsworthy letter, worse still that they then try to censor any criticism. Makes a mockery of being bale to comment wouldn't you think?

It's quite good being out here actually at the moment, wouldn't be able to bear being anywhere near SOT at the moment with our red and white friend's Wembley date coming up. Back in July though pal!

I have watched Mark and the Horse taking training in recent weeks and their effort has to be applauded OK the results have not suffised but the players fitness has improved 100% fron Gannon's day's. Mark nothing surprises anyone from this present Board.

 

A similar way they have ignored Mark Sims involvement with his 24·9% bid.....BUT there again what happened to his article delivered to the SENTINEL. Our unbiased local RAG.

Maybe the power of OVF but it's back on there. Although there was one on there before mine that has definitely been removed.....

I've had comments on various non-Vale related subjects removed in the past and nothing surprises me. Freedom of speech?

The letter from Mark Sims was sent to the sports desk and is being considered by the sports editor. The idea is to use the content of the letter for an indepth story about Mr Sims. I think he is out of the country at the moment.

Dear Mr Finnemore, apologies for not replying to your email on Saturday or Sunday but it was my weekend off. I have just got in for my shift today to see your email. The letter from Mark Sims was sent to the sports desk and is being considered by the sports editor. The idea is to use the content of the letter for an indepth story about Mr Sims. I think he is out of the country at the moment.

 

Good news in a way, as long as it is not biased content, and not published in 2/3 months. I would prefer the full letter to be published, and comment sought for later publication. No doubt the article will have to be approved by the cabal.

My comments still there, it is one of the many Senile mysteries, comments come and go, and come back, in a random fashion. A bit like all non-board news in the paper.
