these are good.fan reviews, but always a little bias toward Gills. every attempt they have is bigged up, opponents never are!

It's an in-depth read if you're a Gills fan, but he fails to mention that their No9 should have been booked before we scored. He also failed to mention Fish 'shoving' Pope off the field before he retaliated.......the two corners where Pope was 'Bear-Hugged' (I notice Man City got a penalty and Arsenal had a man sent off for similar fouls today). Also, if he thought the Legge 'challenge' on Williamson was fair, well - he must have had a better view of it than I (although strangely both the Ref.....and even more strangely, the Liner agree with him!).

After waving goodbye to you and your friends we set off on coach and just past Thurrock we had a front tyre blow out and took almost two and half hours bwfore we were fit to roll again, consequently a very late arrival home ( oneish).

Super driver, ,lovely way of speaking to us, Simon who did his best but i think ATS need a kick up the bum with a 90 minute turnout to a coach full of people in a very vulnerable position. A super result so this made the waiting easier. D. xx

10.30 Back home for us Doreen - a slight 'detour' down the M2 (don't ask) coupled with dropping off my Brother in Northampton coupled with a much needed food stop made it a long enough day. Tried to stay up for the Football League Show but couldn't quite manage t, although watching the meagre offerings for the 'Top-of-the-table' clash was hardly worth bothering with anyway.

Fair summary from a Gills point of view. Let's face it. They were damn good. I would've taken a point before the game as would most who made their way into and out of that ground.

Have to say, the Football League Show's love-in with Martin Allen is really getting up my nose now.

I get the impression he thrives from it. That said, I'm guessing that Micky is happy with the lack of attention we're getting.
