I have turned up at countless "all-ticket" games and never failed to get in. If you want my advice

 

a) get there early

b) get there sober - if you need this explaining, you don't deserve a ticket

c) ask to speak to the Ticket Office Manager...run-of-the-mill staff give run-of-the-mill answers

d) start and remain polite

e) explain why you have not been able to get a ticket (embellish if needs be)

f) if you need more than one, send in the most clued-up in your group

g) have the readies in your hand....everyone loves the sight of cash.

 

As in life, this approach rarely fails!!

Exactly that which is part of the reasoning behind games being all ticket. In short the local Plod force would not allow pay on the day entry. Just a word of warning to those going - South Yorkshires finest maybe even more heavy handed than usual with what happened at Sheff. Utd.

 

what happened at sheffield?
