Let's suppose Lee Hughes agrees with Notts County to have his contract terminated.

 

He then becomes a free agent and can sign for another club even whilst the transfer window is closed.

 

Is this allowed? If so it could be the loophole we need.

Interesting to see if he's in County's squad between now and then. If he doesn't feature I think he'll be here in Jan, otherwise I'd expect that to be the last we hear of him from our perspective.

The Football League mess us about for over a week with the take over and that is acceptable.

We miss a deadline by 3 mins and we are penalised, we ought to sue the FL for incompetence not criticise our own people as the FL numpties should have some discretion in these circumstances, if this was ManU I bet the 3 mins would not have been a consideration.

The only people in football that make the game look silly are the idiots at the FL themselves.
