What's the point of winning away game after away game and then can't win games at home. Our home form has never been the same since Rudge got sacked. Could cost us come the end of the season. Hope the take over happens ASAP as we need at least 2 experienced central midfielders and a left back desperately.

We had ten versus 12 tonight for goodness sake - we actually played some great football and if Morsy had not been stupid there is no way you would have started this thread.

But overall the performance was very good until the sending off and that's the positive that they have to take out of it.

Despite the Ref we had enough chances to win that game 2 or 3 times over .

 

Even with ten men it was inept defending for both of their goals that cost us .

At home we have the 2 flying wingers and Popey hitting the net, but this leaves us open to attack because every team that visits us have a filled midfield and our usual 2 in there are outnumbered. We seem to allow a great gap in central midfield to appear and if an away team have a half decent general there then they exploit us to the hilt. It's there for everyone to see and most opponents now have sussed that out. If we don't score most times we attack at home we leave it open for our defence to find it hard to cope with the wide open space infront of them! A balance has to be sought, we cannot rely on Popey having the season in a million to continue all the way down to the wire. An experienced, ball playing/winning ace in the centre of the park is desperately required to keep us in the hunt, especially as we are hitting rock bottom now in numbers to actually turn up fit and able to play. I generally believe though that if we can manage to be still in the top spots in the next few weeks then we must have an outstanding chance to go up this time, for the new regime will back Adams to bolster our team with better and wiser players to add to the fantastic small squad trying so hard to succeed against all the odds massed against us recently. One last point I am eating humble pie regularly now, as must be many other regulars, at Popey's MASSIVE improvement, fitness/awareness and ability.He is a shining beacon for our season so far and LONG may it continue. Well done Tom, you have saved us a fortune and given true fans a belief that we are one of the teams to watch.

MA's needs to sort out Morsy, he is costing us and the fans will start turning on him. McCoombe should not be included in stupid reckless tackles group. His was an accident and not meant. Morsy - he seems to tackle this way and his now getting a name for it. Ref's will be watching his tackles and give a red card straight away. Last night was a stupid moment, however their players did not help crowding the ref.

 

The ref made it blatant that he was giving Rochdale the upper hand. Some of their players should have been booked and got nothing. Is this a case of them getting at MA's for his comments.
