Clark may have been unfortunate then, I'm possibly confusing his lack of appearances due to the betting issue with injuries. That said when he's had misdemenours in the past it makes giving Grant and Jones(the 2nd one) 2 year deals even more crazy.  Jones' early career at Sunderland and then Hartlepool would appear to have some injury issue, I would have thought his lack of appearances since at times were down to the fact he just isn't very good!

What i did notice by watching the friendly is tolaj gets twisted out of shape by defenders, cant cope with the physically, his balance was all over the place and was a bit weak on decision making with intercepting the ball. He defo needs to improve, but we have depth in attack and midfield.

If the season started without addressing the defense id be fuming but i think it will as its obvious, but i am just really curious how its going to be sorted because id be surprised if any big signings happened at this stage.

In fairness to Todger, for me, he isn't a hard knock target men per se, and will come into his own more when playing off Stockley 😍😍

I think it's more to do with him being on the edge of the Everton team and some who saw him at Bath who said he did ok in his fleeting appearance, he can also play LB and RB and CB if needed

Anyone hear the short snippet on RS today of an interview with Moore where he talks signings?  Further signings?  I didn’t hear it in full so not sure of the context.
