New: Select a forum colour scheme

Hello,

 

This is for users using the standard forum ONLY (i.e. not anyone using a mobile to view the forum).

 

I've now introduced a few different colour schemes so you can select one you like.

 

The options are on the forum footer (see screengrab below). Just click on the colour square to select the one you want to use:

The schemes are:

 

Gold: the default colour scheme

Black: like the default scheme but with some black headers (my favourite, to be honest)

White: a minimalistic scheme, very plain

Blue: A blue theme

 

I may add more over the coming weeks but I hope this allows some further customisation of the forum.

 

If anyone spots any problems with any of the schemes please do let me know.

It doesn't seem to work for me, Rob. I tried it with IE 8 on Windows and Safari on Mac. It seems to refresh the forum but I see no colour changes.

I've just tried it and it's working fine for me. Can someone else please try and let us know if it works or not. If not it might be helpful to let us know which browser you're using. Ta! :)

Hmm.. It seems to do something if I view my profile page. But the actual forum colour scheme remains gold.

Yeah, of course. If I knew how to do that I have done it eons ago but can't remember how. Perhaps you could give me a clue.

 

I clicked the blue button and all the colours that are now amber etc changed to different shades of blue...same with the others.

Press Alt + Print Screen to take a screenshot of the active window. Then open Paint and paste the clipboard (Control V). Then you can save it as an image file for upload.

Has Rob been working on this also? Because from today this feature has started to work for me.
