Yes I was around 🙄 been around since the end of rudgies days 👍🏻 my point being I don’t believe people buy football clubs to be nice from the bottom of their heart. It’s a business there has to be summit in it for themselves.

It’s not about being “nice”.  We were in a dire situation which the Shanahans felt they needed to do something about first and foremost to preserve the club.  The rest of it, off field plans for the local community was secondary in their minds.

You can't actually really believe that, that they just decided they needed to be the ones to save Port Vale. I'm pretty sure her and Kevin had a good think what could be in it for themselves before anything else and before making any offer.

She’s a businesswoman at the end of the day though. Like I’ve said I don’t think for one minute she doesn’t have the club at her best interests

Doesn’t have to be a financial motivation though. The motivation could be to leave a legacy or to help a community that has helped them earn a good living. It’s not always about till.
