Terrible night, stayed up until 1am hoping something would come out but nothing.
Pretty much leaves us hoping James Wilson can play 2 games a week for the next few months or we are in deep deep trouble. Think we will struggle to stay up now, the fact we've not even got a young loanee striker let alone a decent experienced one is absolutely nuts, didnt Flickers say at the fans forum one would come through the door?

Let's hope we have not done a last minute striker mess like Bristol Rovers.

Don't hold your breath then.  Nothing will happen today (but please prove me and others totally wrong) and no doubt we will look at the barging bucket for players without clubs over the next few days and then spend the next 10 weeks getting them match fit.  Usually what Flickers and Co do after a magical transfer window, where certain positions are not filled.

I think it was more pressing to get a CB in than a LWB. We had one early, then for whatever reason had to pivot and get a different one in. That will have been a distraction but the outcome looks better than a) nobody signing b) sticking with Williams. That's a significant base covered and will earn points I'm sure.

I'll find a way to make it his fault, don't worry..... if I've learned nothing else for this thread, it's that everything is Flitcrofts fault.  See Max Boyce's song about Ringer getting the blame.
