Barrow have sacked Andy Whing and said sacking him now gives them the best possible chance to climb the table

Pro-active in the Barrow boardroom. Fair play to them.

Meanwhile everything hunky dory at the Vale.

DC sacked at Bristol Rovers

Think it was a matter of time. From how a lot of Rovers fans talk it sounds like he’s better off out of there. Certainly there’ll be a number of options for him even if his last two jobs have been failures but it’s only so often you can throw your players under the bus in every interview. And no even if the unlikely happened and us and DM parted ways he should not come back here.

Hopefully he gets a break and gets some pundit gigs

He's hasn't stopped working since his time after vale. Cheltenham,  Barnsley and Bristol Rovers I believe?

I still believe he's a great league 2 manager and will find success again in no time

I reckon that Steve Evans will be favourite for the Bristol Rovers job

Yeah that’s exactly what he should do. Think he had a few months between us and Cheltenham and probably similar between Barnsley and Rovers. Sometimes it’s better take a step back for a bit and he’d be really good as a pundit on Sky for a bit.

Sounds like Rovers already have Jon Brady lined up according to Alan Nixon.

Ive got a feeling that Moore won't be sacked and when we get relegated Carol will think I've got an experienced manager who can get promoted from Div2.....Not my ideal situation but hey ho.

I’ve got pretty much neutral feelings towards DC.

However I read that a certain Ricky Martin ex of Stoke is the DoF at Bristol. He’s a bigger waste of space than Flitcroft.

I’d now like to extend my condolences to DC for putting up with 2 utter knobheads of that magnitude.

Hey Shanhan! See how easy it is to sack a manager.

Well, Sir John oversaw a couple of relegations and took us back up quite quickly...

Brady was one of those mentioned on here as someone some on here would of liked if DM had gone

According to press reports, very passionate, needed a break from managing, 3 years with the Cobblers about average for good managers nowadays. Now refreshed and ready.

Pete O’Rourke reporting Steve Evans taking over Bristol Rovers until the end of the season.
