Where did that surge of atmosphere come from?

We seemed to be going through the motions, we'd just made two subs and were looking off the pace and then all of a sudden.

 

"Stand up if you love the vale"

 

Everyone on their feet, the noise lifted, the players responded and we put Burton to the sword.

 

It was like the old days, noise, passion and the players going for the jugular.

 

Wherever it came from, brilliant, and everyone's unity and response was first class.

 

Probably one of my best modern day Vale memories now!======

Definitely- pride, passion & unity was shown by fans, -players and management. It was superb

 

As Acres said, the crowd also left Micky in no doubt as to what he means to us, which I also thought was very important.

A moment to remember that was, the start of a new beginning in the history of Port Vale FC! Everyone there last night deserves a pat on the back! Still gives me goosebumps thinking about "Stand up if you love the Vale" Never have i seen EVERYONE stand up to that song at ANY ground! Up the Vale, VTID!!!!

I cant remember the last time I came home from the vale with a bit of a sore throat from singing, let alone a lump in me throat from pride. Very nice it was too.
