The game went exactly to my expectations, Burton coming at us as hard as they could for 20-25 minutes following Peschisolido's 'vote of confidence' meeting on Monday, us nullifying that threat then taking control. The only bit that surprised me was we took so long to score No.2 after missing some great chances. I hate us only being 1-0 up as we enter the last 15 minutes, no matter how much better than the other side we are we always seem vunerable to the 'snatch a point' syndrome from the opposition!

 

A great effort from our players who should be rightly proud of themselves.

really enjoyed last night..wasnt the greatest performance but with burton being so bad we never really had to step it up a notch..the players did really well last night considering everything thats goin on and all the fans were proud last night..great sing song!

 

if the players and fans some that much passion every week we will be fine

Taking into account 10 points deduction that puts us 15th with 43 points in the league 6 points behind Crewe with a game in hand on them. Do you think it would be an idea for the youth to be blooded?

I'm always proud to be a Vale fan, no matter what happens, or whatever division we're in. :D

 

I haven't been proud of the club for sometime (Micky and the players aside). Hopefully now we can seek out a visionary to take us over and restore some success to the club in terms of a decent playing budget, sustainable 10 year + business plan and the right people in the right roles! ;)
